Description

Hi there! I'm the author of the [setup-chrome](https://github.com/browser-actions/setup-chrome) GitHub Action. I'm reaching out regarding ARM64 support for Windows 11.

With GitHub now supporting Windows 11 ARM instances (https://github.blog/changelog/2025-04-14-windows-arm64-hosted-runners-now-available-in-public-preview/). Native ARM64 build of chrome-for-testing binaries would be valuable for automated testing on ARM64 Windows environments, CI/CD pipelines running on ARM64 infrastructure, and development workflows on ARM64 Windows devices. Currently, Chrome for Testing downloads are available for various platforms, but Windows ARM64 support appears to be missing from the available options.

Is there a plan to provide chrome-for-testing binaries for Windows 11 ARM64 architecture?

Thank you very much.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points to inspect; start by reviewing the Chrome for Testing download options and the Windows 11 ARM64 runner context it cites. Done would be a documented decision on whether native Windows ARM64 binaries will be provided and what support plan applies.
