Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified in the issue. Start by locating the existing GitHub Sync implementation and reviewing how it handles GitHub organizations, authentication, and host URLs; compare those assumptions with GitHub Enterprise Cloud organizations on ghe.com. Done means GitHub Sync works for ghe.com organizations without relying on Marketplace app installation.

Description

Context

GitHub Enterprise Cloud with Data Residency, lands clients on <org>.ghe.com, not on github.com/<org>. The issue is that on ghe.com, there's no Marketplace, and thus installing apps like https://github.com/apps/gitbook-com is not possible. Some vendors (e.g. Linear.app: https://linear.app/integrations/github-enterprise-server) or Microsoft (Teams) implemented dedicated integrations with GHEC.
