Description

Please read the prerequisites to run scrcpy.

Also read the FAQ and check if your issue already exists.

Environment

  • OS: CachyOS
  • Scrcpy version: 4.0
  • Installation method: pacman
  • Device model: Galaxy Watch 8 Classic
  • Android version: 16

Describe the bug

--keep-active not keeping active. It launches, and it streams my watch, but if I put my hand down too long, my watch sleeps and disconnect.

scrcpy --tcpip=$IP:5555 --no-audio --keep-active

Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported command with scrcpy 4.0 on the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic running Android 16, focusing on the --keep-active entry point and the device-disconnect output. Compare behavior while the watch is idle and when the user's hand is down; done means the watch stays awake and the scrcpy connection remains active.
