Description

Hi everyone,

I have a Pixel 7 and it feels like everything is working apart from the screen (the touch still works).
I'm trying to use scrcpy to display this phone on my computer so I can recover what I need from it before letting it die for good.

I fixed the Windows driver issue and was able to use my computer as an OTG input device.
From my understanding, I should be able to send a series of inputs to activate USB debugging on my phone (it has never been enabled before). And I should then be able to do the steps I can’t complete through OTG just by touching the still-working touchscreen.

Did I understand correctly?
Has anyone already done this before and can share the sequence of inputs I should use?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Have a good day,

GEO

Research direction

No repository file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by checking the project’s Android debugging and OTG guidance against the Pixel 7 scenario. Done would be a documented, verified sequence of inputs, or a clear explanation that scrcpy cannot help until USB debugging is enabled.
