wiping vertically and horizontally with 2d-mousewheel

I would ask if it's possible to implement both wiping function, i.e. vertically and horizontally with a suitable (DeltaX and DeltaY capable) mouse wheel. It would make the wiping functionality more natural.

The issue names no files or tests. Start by locating the mouse-wheel input handling and the existing wiping/swiping path, then determine how SDL2 DeltaX and DeltaY events are represented. Done should mean a suitable two-dimensional mouse wheel can trigger both vertical and horizontal wiping.
