Description
Hello,
Synack is pleased to provide the attached response to the ATC and signatory agencies' Request for Comment on the Report to the President on Federal IT Modernization. As the government partner on the Hack the Pentagon private, government-grade bug bounty and IRS crowdsourced vulnerability discovery program, we have provided our perspective on the Report's security plans. We believe that the Report provides a strong foundation for the modernization of our federal IT systems and cybersecurity, and we have provided some suggestions of where the ATC and signatory agencies could push the security of our nation's systems even further through a private, managed approach to crowdsourced security that is not just an alternative but, in fact, an imperative in today's environment.
Our co-founders, Jay Kaplan and Mark Kuhr, cc'ed on this email and previously within Rob Joyce's organization at the NSA, would welcome the opportunity to walk through our response and lessons learned from government and industry in person. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any follow-up questions.
Best,
Anne-Marie Chun
Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Synack Inc.
