Duplicate and blank project activities found

Issue:
During September deployment report submissions, the deployment report was successfully processed but the agency summary did not reflect that the required deployment reports were submitted. ITD Support found that there were several activities where duplicate agency activity IDs existed in the data base and the update updated the wrong activity while the summary status page looked at the other activities.

Solution:
Request that these duplicate activities be removed from ITD. After follow-up analysis, found a total of 257 activities that have duplicate agency activity ID records in the ITD database. Also found 10 records that appear to be blank. The duplicate records date back several years.
Request all duplicate records be removed from ITD database using the ITD activity ID. We are not sure how these activities impact any reporting. They are included on the data exports.
Will send the EXCEL spreadsheet with records to be removed to the ITD helpdesk email.
