Description
As seen here:
when I resize the browser to become smaller in height, the app does not scale with it. Other directions seem to work. Tested on Firefox and Chromium on Ubuntu 24.04.1.

Research direction
Reproduce the height-shrinking behavior in Firefox or Chromium on Ubuntu 24.04.1, then inspect the VueJS client’s window-resize handling to find where vertical resizing stops being applied. Done means the app scales correctly when the browser window is made shorter, while the other resize directions continue to work.
