Description
There are several dust schemes in GOCART-2G that need full testing and evaluation.
- Bring DEAD scheme to process library
- Implement DEAD in G2G
- Carryout control for 2016 at C180 (compatible with benchmark, but latest model)
- Compare control with benchmark
- Add NDVI to Ginoux, test, happy with do-no-harm
- Test dust schemes:
a) Simple, similar to Ginoux, use externally specified threshold friction velocity
b) DEAD
c) Fengsha
d) K14

Research direction
The issue names the process library and G2G as the main entry points, with a 2016 C180 control and benchmark comparison as evaluation targets. Start by locating those components and the existing Ginoux, Simple, DEAD, Fengsha, and K14 scheme implementations; done means the listed schemes are implemented or tested, NDVI is evaluated for do-no-harm, and control results are compared with the benchmark.
