This issue proposes the creation of an AI-powered tool aimed at improving the overall student experience by simplifying campus life, improving organization, and fostering community engagement.
The project will address common challenges faced by students in navigating academic schedules, campus events, and opportunities through intelligent automation and personalization.
Goal
Design and build a functional and user-friendly application that leverages AI to assist students with everyday campus needs such as information retrieval, scheduling, and event recommendations.
Project Options
Choose one of the following focus areas for implementation:
Option A: AI Chatbot for Student Queries
Provide instant answers to questions about timetables, events, and facilities.
Use NLU/NLP to interpret conversational queries.
Include a simple chat interface for interaction.
Option B: Smart Scheduler / Reminder System
Allow students to input schedules, deadlines, and exams.
Generate intelligent reminders and notifications.
Optionally identify free slots and suggest optimal meeting times.
Option C: Personalized Event Recommender
Collect student interests and preferences.
Recommend campus events, clubs, and workshops tailored to each profile.
Display recommendations via dashboard, email, or notifications.
