### Problem description
When someone sends me a file created on Windows and/or Linux (I usually don't know which), many of the dimensions are broken when I open the file on Mac.
Some of the parts are very simple: sheet metal with various internal / external cuts. Some only slightly more complex (for 3D printing).
Is this a known issue? Are there specific issue numbers I can track? (I attempted a search but didn't find anything -- sorry if I missed some obvious tickets.)
Any workarounds? Anything I can do to help, other than diving into the source code? (It's likely much too large of a project.)

(I attempted to post this on forum.freecad.org a few days ago but either it hasn't appeared or I'm overlooking it somehow.)
