Description
Hi,
I wanted to ask if anyone else is having the same problem.
With version 1.0.2, as well as with 1.1.1, when I generate
a render, the opaque surfaces of the model become
transparent in the render.
So I set them to be transparent in the model, and magically
they become opaque in the render.
This happens whether I use Cycles or PBRT.
In addition, no type of light can be configured anymore.
The situation with the 1.2/v26.3 daily build is simpler,
since rendering doesn’t work at all,
regardless of the engine.
Guys, what happened?
I’m currently using Debian Trixie on x86_84.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the rendering failures on Debian Trixie with versions 1.0.2, 1.1.1, and the 1.2/v26.3 daily build, using both Cycles and PBRT. Compare opaque and transparent surfaces and light configuration; done means identifying the regression and restoring correct rendering and light setup.
