Redirect is not working when user has “Blocked opening external apps” enabled in browser is this expected?

Hi, some of my users have the option “Block opening external apps” turned on (for example in Edge).
When they have this enabled, the login flow doesn’t work anymore because the redirect back to the app never happens.

Is this expected behavior?
Or is there another option we can use so we don’t have to tell users to change this setting?
