Issues with COSMIC DE

I know that the intent of this project was to ensure that it worked with the GNOME DE. I am currently testing out COSMIC DE for Pop OS, which is obviously NOT GNOME and also using Wayland and not X11 (assuming that matters). I have been getting an issue where launched applications will automatically resize slowly into the smallest possible Window. I don't know how possible or easy a fix would be for that once COSMIC is released, but would love to keep using winapps once Pop switches to COSMIC (instead of having to keep using GNOME).
