Update PRs from Geometric Weather

As the README mentions, Temperate Weather is a modernized and minimized hard fork of Geometric Weather focused on security updates and continued placement in various app stores. As Geometric Weather has been de-listed from the Play Store, and no releases have been made in over two years, this fork is intended to continue the great work on Geometric Weather.

First steps are to merge in active and stale PRs from GM. If any developers would like to contribute to this effort, those active on GW will be granted contributor rights to help manage PRs and pushes here. Please post here and migrate your PR if so.
