Android: 'New Note' dialog not working with Swiftkey

If I open the 'New Note' dialog the dialog is placed in the center of the screen. Then Swiftkey is being opened to enter the name of the note which causes the dialog to be replaced to the center of the remaining screen area. This closes the keyboard which causes the dialog to be placed back in the center and the keyboard stays closed.
Tapping the box for the note's name opens the keyboard again and the game repeats.

It would be nice to prevent Swiftkey from being closed after the dialog is replaced.
