Logs out when out of memory and starting offline

The biggest issue reported via email is that when the app is not in memory, and you start it, it logs out because it can't connect to the server. Offline use works fine if the app is already loaded, and this doesn't seem to happen for all users, but I get a number of reports for it. Other than that most issues are related to nonmaintenance.
