Edge API (SDK) add custom fields (aka metadata)

A customer would like to access the metadata fields via the API avaliable via the SDK (Edge API). They would like to do this to build application logic using the metadata fields in their app.

Expose the metadata fields in the feature request response

The workaround is to use the Rest API (Core)
