Sensitivity

Nice project.

a)
How would one Increase the sensitivity as it currently does not fire very well with normal conversation.
b)
Would it be possible to slow down the vertical drop of each bar so it has a better visual effect ?
Currently the spikes disappear very quickly so it is almost difficult to see them.

Start by locating the Android code that captures microphone input and renders the vertical bars. Trace how input amplitude controls sensitivity and how bar spikes decay. The issue is done when normal conversation produces visible spikes and the bars remain visible longer for a clearer effect.
