## Assignment 5
Explore and prototype machine-learning-based flame edge detection for IR and optical images.
### Tasks
- [ ] Literature review (U-Net, SAM, etc.)
- [ ] Curate and annotate training/validation dataset (IR + optical)
- [ ] Document classical baseline (current FlameTrack method)
- [ ] Train and evaluate first model prototype
### Acceptance Criteria
- Dataset prepared and documented
- At least one ML model trained and evaluated on held-out data
