Project maintenance status and possibility of adding maintainers

Hi,
I wanted to ask whether this project is still actively maintained, because from the outside it currently appears to be mostly inactive.

The community still heavily depends on mkcert, and several forks have started to appear to keep things moving or add support for newer environments and edge cases.

Would you consider adding new maintainers or collaborators to help continue the project instead of having the ecosystem fragment into multiple forks?

I believe many people would prefer contributing upstream rather than maintaining separate versions.
