Description

When we get to competition one of the tasks on our list is to bring the robot to the field for vision calibration.

Is there value in setting something up that can stand in for the robot so that we can do vision and camera calibrations at the same time the robot is busy elsewhere (e.g. robot inspection)?

Example: a second Raspberry Pi 5 with a spare camera plugged into it, mounted on a rig that simulates its position (height, distance from walls) on the robot. Plugged into a small Ethernet switch. Everything powered by a USB power bank.

The idea would be to bring the rig onto the field, plug the driver station laptop into it, access the camera, configure PhotonVision settings. Then copy the modified settings back to the robot's vision system.

It could also be used during build and off season for camera testing and PhotonVision testing when the robot is not available.

If there is value to this effort, the deliverable for this issue should be:
- a design for the portable vision calibration kit
- a parts list so we can get all the parts needed
- participate in building and testing the kit
- some documentation on how to connect to it (IP addresses, logins)
