Description

Jumpering the VR test pad to an ignition output is proving a good way to do piggyback installs.

Suggestion to implement this is software so we can output the crank signal to an OEM ecu.

Ignition outputs/TC4427 outputs are ideal for VR as they have a zero crossing (+3.3v to -1.8v)
Standard high or low side will work for Hall.

Mark notes it would be good for this to work in self stim mode for bench testing ECUs
