Description
[The Open Source Way](https://www.theopensourceway.org/) is a nice guidebook on how to run effective and collaborative open source communities. We would like to have the current https://chrisproject.org evaluated against The Open Source Way's guidelines (some of the guidelines in the book specific to project websites are in this section: https://www.theopensourceway.org/the_open_source_way-guidebook-2.0.html#_communication_norms_in_open_source_software_projects but there are many throughout the book that would be relevant for ChRIS.)
A successful outcome for this ticket would be a checklist list of actionable items where we could do better along the Open Source Way's guidelines with references to The Open Source Way passages for each. For example, The Open Source Way mentions social media as a good way to get the word out about a project community - ChRIS does not have a social media presence. So you might recommend we consider creating a social media presence on specific platforms.
