Practice only team option

Running two events at the same time to be able to have practice only teams is super frustrating. At our premier event we like to invite mentor bots and smaller local area teams to join on the first day to have some fun.

To be able to do that we need to have two scoring events for each actual event we host. It makes inspection interesting as you need to switch between events, and will end up forgetting which event you are in and slows the event down.

I am hoping there could be a seperate option in competing status for only practice matches.

Unfortunately the other option is just for us not to do it, but that is not really in the cards as our teams love it.

Start by tracing the existing competing status option through the scorekeeper application. Determine where event and team status are configured and how that state affects scoring and inspection. Done means organizers can designate teams for practice-only matches without creating duplicate scoring events, while regular scoring remains unchanged.
