Description
Last week we ran through the scoring system with our two dedicated head refs in Arizona. These are things they noted that would be beneficial on the live scoring tablet.
The count down timer to appear on the tablet so that the scoring ref can view the time as they are live scoring and not have to rely on the field countdown timer which is another screen to view which causes them to take their eyes off the field. With the amount of excitement and noise they may not necessarily hear the end game sound while focusing on the action of the field. This is important since capping could occur before the end game is triggered and they could potentially indicate the team capped the tower before end game and the team would earn 5pts when they should score 0 pts. The system does not know recognize when you select capping if it is before or during end game.
Another request related to end game is to have a dividing bar between the driver controlled period and end game section on the live scoring tablet that indicates that it is end game scoring below (like the driver controlled colored bar). Is it possible to have end game scoring behave similar to when you transition from autonomous period to driver controlled period to avoid accidentally selecting the capping score?
