Everest crashing gnome-shell on Fedora linux

### Describe the bug

At seemingly random points (but only when having Everest modded Celeste open) my entire desktop environment crashes. Problem reporting attributed this to "gnome-shell killed by SIGABRT" and "g_assertion_message_expr.cold" It only happens with mods enabled, but it seemingly happens independent of what mods are actually loaded.

### Steps to reproduce

1. Have Celeste open with Everest installed and some mods enabled
2. Crash to GNOME login screen

### Expected behavior

I expect the game itself to just crash instead of killing my entire desktop enviroment.

Fedora Linux 42, Kernel 6.14.8-300.fc42.x86_64

### Mods required to reproduce

None in particular

### Additional context

Doesn't seem to produce any crash logs when it happens, which makes sense given the entire computer is giving up.
