Description
I have no interest in using any of the *cloud providers you have for my local setup for any reason is there a version of the world where there will be basic auth for tabby web?
2 years later I read this again since it was recently updated, and I realized how aggressive it sounded. I just don't really want to set up O Auth.

Research direction
Start by reviewing Tabby Web's existing OAuth setup and authentication entry points. The issue does not identify files, tests, or a proposed design; first clarify how local users should be created, managed, and secured. Done would mean an agreed implementation that supports basic local authentication without requiring an external OAuth provider.
