Documentation: How to override color on grouped bar charts

Neither the examples nor the section on style overrides cover how to override styles for a grouped bar chart. I'm currently attempting to override the default chart color in the way the documentation states, but the override isn't coming through. I assume this is because there are two types of bars, and thus two colors. Please advise.
