Description
I keep getting requests to allow/support content negotiation on secondary resources.
The problems are:
- allowing the secondary server to do conneg implies that the secondary server has some knowledge of the contents, which, in general, should not be the case
- in particular, it makes the use of encryption encoding hard (impossible?), unless the OOB response contains decryption information for all variants the secondary server could send
