Bootstrap theme caused navigation error

The new Bootstrap theme caused an issue where the headings disappear and the dropdown box automatically closes using Firefox. Other browsers not tested.

Could be because I'm following a 2016 tutorial, or it could be an issue with the theme. Either hunt down the issue to make the theme work or revert to the old theme. A third option would be to try a new theme.
