[Feature Request] Have the selected value in the middle of the drop down list when the list is expanded

Can we have the selected (highlighted) select shown in the middle of the drop down list, when the list is expanded? It is currently always displayed at the bottom of the list.
It’s useful to see a few selection above and underneath it, to make the next selection easier, to minimize the scroll up and down operations.
