Update `README.md`

It would be nice if there was a _Getting Started_ section in the `README.md`, as it is currently only the development aspect that is covered.
In my opinion, the best approach would be to add a _Development_ section with most of the current content and an additional _Getting Started_ section for a quick guide, maybe incorporating the _How to run_ section.

Maybe we should consider creating a guide (similar to the Rust book) separate from this repository with introductions to the capabilities of the system and maybe the most essential aspects of the theory in an approachable format, which can then be referenced. This will of course be a huge undertaking.
