Description

Hello,

I think there is a small error in the metadata for the landmask output variable. The longname says...

land/ocean mask (0.=ocean and 1.=land)

but the actual data is NaN's (or -9999.) over the ocean, not zero. This is true in a recent release (cesm2_3_alpha16a). See e.g., /glade/scratch/islas/archive/getlandmask.002/lnd/hist/getlandmask.002.clm2.h1.1979-01-01-00000.nc.

Not a massive problem but if it can be changed, it might avoid some confusion.

Thanks,
Isla
