Description

As part of the CLASP (Coupling of Land and Atmospheric Subgrid Parameterizations) CPT, one goal is to communicate sub-grid heterogeneity in CTSM up to the atmosphere via CLUBB's surface higher order moments. To that end, a new module is being written that computes those moments using patch-level temperature, humidity, etc. before computing a grid mean based on those values. The module should be fairly self contained, but does include minor updates to flux modules to consistently save ustar, wstar and zeta at the patch level.
