Description
We have had repeated issues with user setting in the namelist the flag ':A' to variables that are defined with the ':X' or ':M' flags.
This even happened in several of the CMIP6 experiments.
After discussions, we would like to have an error catcher to stop the model when the user set erroneously the flag to ':A'.
