Description
When running some of CAMDEN's scripts (e.g., the code-creation scripts, buildnml), it would be helpful to have a log file with the run ID for user (and SE) support.
This log file would be for warnings and errors. For some levels of debug, we could include more information.

Research direction
Start by locating the CAMDEN code-creation scripts and the buildnml entry point, then inspect how they currently report warnings, errors, and run identifiers. Clarify the logging scope and debug levels before changing anything; done should mean the relevant scripts consistently produce a supportable log file without obscuring failures.
