Emailing my representatives, why should I choose a title and a topic?

Description
When performing the "Email your representatives" function, the 2nd form lists my representatives and asks for a title and a topic. It's unclear (to me) whose title you want and why you want it. Are you going to address my senator as "Chief Master Sergeant"? Or is this my title? If so, it's odd to put it under each representative. I don't think you should ask title here.
As to topic, you (EFF) already know what the topic is...why make me hunt for an appropriate one? Should already be filled in.
