Description

**Please complete the following information:**

[//]: # (You can gather most of this information with the EDMC System Profiler)

- Version: 6.1.2+b7758a6
- Game Version: Odyssey
- OS: Arch Linux (Linux 6.19.6-arch1-1)
- OS Locale: English
- Browser: Zen and Firefox

**Describe the bug**

I can't get EDMC to acknowledge my CMDR profile at all.

EDMC will periodically open a new tab on my browser asking me to authenticate via the Frontier website, which I approved multiple times both directly through Frontier and through Steam to no avail. Clicking 'Approve' on Frontier's auth page once gives no error nor result and clicking it a second time results in a 403 error. Same thing happens on Steam except clicking it a second time simply says 'Incorrect login' as if both requests went through successfully and expired (as expected).

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Launch Elite: Dangerous (Odyssey) as normal.
2. Launch EDMC and go through the authentification process.
3. Close both Elite: Dangerous and EDMC and switch to Elite: Dangerous (Horizons) in the launcher.
4. Launch the game once then close it.
5. Switch back to Elite: Dangerous (Odyssey) and launch both the game and EDMC.
6. EDMC will get stuck attempting to get you authenticated.

**Expected behavior**

EDMC works as it always does, periodically scanning the journals to send every new bits of data to EDDN.

**Additional context**

I am using min-ed-launcher to skip the launcher but had to remove the launch option temporarily to get back to it and switch to another version of the game.

Removing that launch option again to get to the launcher and launch the game from there seems to work fine with EDMC in this case.

This could very well be caused by min-ed-launcher somehow; in which case I am absolutely sorry for thinking the issue came from EDMC

**Please Confirm the Following...**

[//]: # (Add any other context about the problem here.)
- [X] I have checked [Open Issues](https://github.com/EDCD/EDMarketConnector/issues/) to ensure this is not a duplicate
- [X] I have checked the [Troubleshooting Guide](https://github.com/EDCD/EDMarketConnector/wiki/Troubleshooting) to check for known workarounds

**Logs**
Please attach both the EDMarketConnector.log and EDMarketConnector-debug.log if available.

[EDMarketConnector.log](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/26875983/EDMarketConnector.log)

[EDMarketConnector-debug.log](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/26875985/EDMarketConnector-debug.log)

The only hint I can give for now is that EDMC seems to detect an invalid version of the game when I use min-ed-launcher to skip the launcher.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the attached EDMarketConnector.log and EDMarketConnector-debug.log around authentication and the invalid game-version detection, then reproduce the listed Odyssey/Horizons switch with and without min-ed-launcher. Done means EDMC authenticates the CMDR and resumes journal scanning when the launcher option is used, or the issue is narrowed to min-ed-launcher.
