Description
Please describe the problem with this page:
https://E4S-Project.github.io/guide-programmingsystems/
More than a problem, I have suggestions as the page is a great start:
- Some decisions for adoption are more than technical. Support (including vendors), governance, standards, community, and stakeholders, etc. It can be highlighted that E4S helps close some of these gaps.
- Highlight the things that are unique to the stack: ASCR-funded HPC programming models (Kokkos for C++, OpenMP, OpenACC for C++ and Fortran, and emerging: JACC, Mojo) and vendor-neutrality (e.g. portability is mentioned but it's a broader term).
- AI is not mentioned in this page. Modeling and Simulation have been around for so long that this info might not be new to them, but highlighting how E4S can help scientist do HPC + AI, Quantum would be a plus.
Thanks!

Research direction
Start with the E4S Programming Systems Guide at https://E4S-Project.github.io/guide-programmingsystems/ and review its current coverage. Compare the page with the suggestions about adoption factors, E4S’s programming-model stack and vendor neutrality, and HPC with AI and Quantum. Done means the agreed additions are incorporated clearly without losing the page’s existing purpose.
