Hi Dustin, I wasn't able to send a message to a short random identifier (hash?) that is shown automatically.
- Hard to copy short ID - maybe not supposed to be?
- Hard to use short ID after copying?
- Longer IDs are too long
Am I doing the wrong thing? Is the UX misleading? Is there a bug?
On Firefox 138.0.4 (64-bit) on Ubuntu.
What I tried:
Open https://dustinbrett.com in a private window.
Open Messenger.
Open dev tools inspector to get the short ID code to copy it
Open site in non private window.
Open Messenger.
"New message" button
Paste ID
But then the input field is reset, as if it is invalid or such - but no UX explains what the issue is.
