Description

What problem will this feature address?

When coming to the templates section to find new apps to install, it's always a bit annoying to have to go through the entire list

Would be nice if there was a way to see the templates sorted by reverse-chronological order, or at least a "Browse new templates" which either show the templates added in the last 3 months, or added in the last 3 releases or something

Describe the solution you'd like

A filter option

Describe alternatives you've considered

Research direction

Start by locating the templates section and its existing list, filtering, or sorting entry point. Decide which definition of “new” the project should use, then consider the work complete when users can filter templates by recency and the behavior is covered by the relevant existing checks.
