Provide stat totals for map framed area

Whether zoomed out to world or zoomed in to a granular view, a user would like to see the metric totals for the framed area of the map. Currently the hover allows you to see metrics for the sub-sections of a framed area, but you can't see them for the entire area of focus.

From user: Our data currently records locations at the state level, but we're wanting to focus in and saturation each state at the county level. When we click on a state, we can see the county level map, but it looks like very little is going on within the state because our data isn't refined to the county level. We'd like to see the county level view, but also see the totals for the state.
