Accessibility: Need a way to avoid "jump to top" when accidentally touching Home icon!

Description
I have miserable "essential tremor" - my fingers have a chaotic mind of their own. Every day I accidentally hit the bottom left Home icon on my tiny iPhone and end up at the top of my timeline. Maybe:
Add a function that a second tap jumps back to my last read marker?
Add a Setting that disables the jump to top?
An option to move the buttons to the top of the screen where I'm less likely to hit them?
Require a long press to trigger the jump?
Please?
