Description
Could there be a checkmark (or another visual cue) to differentiate the currently selected option for the others.
For example, in Timeline tab, if Home is selected and then the drop-down invoked, the Home option should be differentiated from the others with a tick?
I think the account selector works this way?

Research direction
Start by locating the Timeline tab's drop-down and compare it with the account selector, which the issue says may already show the current choice. The work is done when the currently selected option has a clear visual cue, such as a checkmark, while the menu is open.
