Description

- OS:
26.1 - IceCubesApp version:
2.0.9
Description
The new posts counter doesn't update when the App was closed for a longer time (or was quit hard via app-caroussel by intention) and is then reopened.
When the app is then opened it shows the last amount of new posts when it was closed/quit and the counter doesn't decrement when reading new posts. I'll try to attach a video showing it.

Maybe related to the bug: second attachment shows the counter doesn't even zero if timeline is updated by pulling down. Only full refresh makes it "normal" again.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue in IceCubesApp 2.0.9 on iOS 26.1 by leaving the app closed, reopening it, reading new posts, and pulling to refresh. Trace the new-post counter refresh behavior; done means the count reflects the current timeline after reopening, decrements while posts are read, and reaches zero after a timeline refresh.
