Description
It would be nice to have the option of Apple's Live Text/OCR when generating alt text.
The AI-assisted "generate description" feature for alt text is incredible, and most of the times it generates a better alt text than I would have done.
However, sometimes I want to do something like "screenshot of a dialogue. It reads:..." and then enter the text verbatim. I frequently use Ivory's OCR feature for this, stripping out any OCRed text I don't need. The AI-assisted generator doesn't usually produce a verbatim representation of the text.
p.s. Is the "generate description" on-device only, or is it being sent to an AI cloud service? This has never been clear to me (apologies if this is documented somewhere)
p.p.s. Thank you for making Ice Cubes. This is the most fun I've had with an app in a long time. I'm a semi-regular tipper in the app.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing AI-assisted “generate description” flow for alt text and the app’s use of Apple Live Text/OCR. Define how the optional OCR result should preserve verbatim text and clarify whether generation is on-device or sent to an AI cloud service; done means both behaviors are documented and testable.
