Description
Environment:
- OS: macOS 14.6.1
- IceCubesApp version: 1.10.49
Description
When Ice Cubes' right-hand sidebar column is open and configured to show notifications, interacting with that sidebar doesn't appear to mark notifications as read or remove the badge from the app's dock icon. In order to mark notifications as read and remove the icon, I have to show the notifications nav item and click that so that the main column loads my notifications. Ideally, having notifications already open in the right column would mean that they're marked as read as soon as I bring the window to the foreground, or when I interact with that sidebar by scrolling or clicking in it somewhere.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue on macOS 14.6.1 with IceCubesApp 1.10.49 by opening notifications in the right-hand sidebar and interacting with it. Trace the notification read state and dock badge behavior; done means bringing the window forward or using the sidebar marks notifications as read and removes the badge.
