- IceCubesApp version: 1.10.49
Description
when adding an image of video to a toot, the image begins to upload while editing. if while it uploads, you edit an alt text and hit publish before the upload has ended, it seems that the tool ends up being published without the alt text.
if you take longer to write the alt or publish the alt text is added correctly to the toot.
it is easier to reproduce with video, but also possible with images when cellular signal is not great.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in the iOS app with a video or image on a slow cellular connection: edit the alt text while the upload is still running and publish immediately. Trace the upload and publish flow mentioned by the report; done means the published toot retains the alt text even when publishing occurs before the upload finishes.
