Description

Environment:

  • OS: 17.0.3
  • IceCubesApp version: 1.9.8

Description

On the profile screen, when pulling to refresh, the loading indicator is clipped under the iPhone forehead (i.e., statusbar safe area).

The homescreen doesn't have this problem due to the navbar title taking up that space naturally.

Preview

In this video, it looks okay, but anything within the top middle safe area is where the forehead / dynamic island are -- HiG reference. Running in the simulator with `Window > Show Device Bezels" will help :)

Research direction

Reproduce pull-to-refresh on the profile screen in an iOS simulator with device bezels enabled, then inspect the profile screen's loading-indicator layout and safe-area handling. Done means the loading indicator remains fully visible below the iPhone forehead or Dynamic Island area while refreshing.
